HIGHLANDS PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN





At Highlands Presbyterian Church, we welcome all women into our Women's Ministry Programs. Join us as we participate in numerous mission projects, community outreach initiatives, and fellowship activities, and explore new ways to serve our Lord. Some of our mission efforts and projects allow us to:
  • Provide financial support through annual pledges and fund raisers
  • Support the work of Presbyterian Women in the Presbytery and of Church Women United with time and money
  • Stock and maintain the church kitchen and the church library
  • Handle the purchase of altar flowers each week and special floral displays at Christmas and Easter
  • Serve meals and/or refreshments at weddings, baptisms, special receptions or
        other occasions as requested
  • Send cards and/or meals to church members who are sick, grieving or unable to
         get out and about
  • Provide monthly Circle Meetings for Bible study and fellowship
  • Purchase items such as tables, chairs and kitchen appliances as needed

Thursday, September 3rd - Salad Luncheon with Western Springs Presbyterian Women at WS Presbyterian Church "Horizon Study" with Rev. Jennifer Lewis

Sunday, October 18th - SPUD LUNCHEON in Fellowship Hall following the church service

Sunday, November 15th - THANK OFFERING SUNDAY

Tuesday, December 1st - ANNUAL WOMEN'S CHRISTMAS DINNER at William Tell Holiday Inn

Sunday, January 24th - BLANKET SUNDAY

Saturday, March 20th - 5th ANNUAL LUNCHEON AND FASHION SHOW - William Tell Holiday Inn, Countryside
